In May of this year, the Andorra Group was one of the three sponsors of the fourth UFHRD Conference on HRD Research and Practice across Europe, which was hosted by Toulouse Business School, under the leadership of Professor Jonathan Winterton.

The special focus of the conference was Lifelong Learning for a knowledge-Based Society, and one of the key speakers at the conference was Andorra consultant, John Rodgers of the TUC. Commenting on the event, he said: "My participation in the UFHRD conference yielded dividends. The paper that I presented with my fellow Andorra associate, Dr Emma Wallis of Leeds University Business School, `Union Learning Representatives: Making the European area of lifelong learning a reality', stimulated interesting angles on innovations in Lifelong Learning and HRD, which we are now looking to push forward."
