Art means Business for Andorra Group

Andorra recently moved into the world of art patronage, sponsoring an art installation by the renowned Maltese artist Norbert Francis Attard. The installation, entitled Web of Intrigue, was commissioned as part of FEVA, the Knaresborough Festival of Entertainment and Visual Arts, which ran from August 8th to 17th.

Attard spent four long days covering the front of the Art Apartment gallery in Knaresborough in 3000 metres of pink ribbon, weaving a web all over the front of a former flax weaving mill. The effect, as you can see, was striking, to say the least.

The work was curated by Paul Gilby of Relative Media, the company he founded to bring artists and business together in order to realise projects in the UK.

The Andorra Group sponsorship and its relationship with Relative Media, is part of its view of art as a means of developing and improving the people within an organisation and, by extension, the organisation itself.

Steve Bean, Andorra Group Managing Director explained: "Art can be a very powerful way to motivate and inspire people. And successful organisations are normally full of motivated, inspired people. By engaging with a company such as Relative Media, who are specialists in bringing art and business together, we will be able to provide a powerful service for organisations that will ultimately translate into bottom line benefits."
